In May 2010, Skype launched Free group video calling in Skype5 Beta. At the time of launch itself Skype said that group calling will bepremium feature later this year. Now Group calling is part of a new premium package with Skype 5 stable version. Read on for the details of premium packages, discounts and free trials available.

Skype group video calling is available as part of the new Premium package which offers group video calling together with access to live chat customer support.

You can buy a day pass for $4.99/€3.49/£2.99 ($5.74/€4.01/£3.44 including VAT) or a monthly subscription for just $8.99/€5.99/£4.99 ($10.34/€6.89/£5.74 including VAT) per month.


If you sign up for group video calling in the first month, you’ll receive a 33% discount on 3 and 12 month subscriptions. In addition, you’ll get a 25% discount off an HD webcam.
